Gyoza-no-Ohsho

"Gyoza-no-Ohsho (King of Gyoza)" was founded in Kyoto and became the biggest gyoza (dumplings) chain restaurant in Japan.  There are many branches in Kyoto.

I should have ordered their speciality "gyoza," but had a set of seafood fried rice and soy sauce flavored ramen noodle (819 yen).

"Cheap, fast, delicious, and big quantity" seem like the restaurant's motto!!

Gyoza-no-Ohsho is a popular chain all over Japan and we have quite a few in Gifu. They are great for a quick, cheap and delicious meal. I love their set lunch menu :)

Hi Japan-Australia,
Their set menus are great, aren't they! I also like the sounds of cooking from the kitchen right behind the counter.

Hi meru11,

Please go to our Links "Kyoto Now on Google map" for the location. Their menu doesn't change all day, so lunch and dinner are exactly the same in menu.

March is one of the best months to visit Kyoto!
