<br />
There are several kinds of lunch menus.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhe04VvvbTmwjzWrmHNjPVAYbVkoxhk45S9D3i-F8E7fZuvLf1gfab5D7nK3t3Y-QNKnNurp5rLTjXb4RzHgXuZe57KkmvcxSIok8VZEbKI7T6-5c-fVPGwiaLtONw4osIPjmUj48g_Os7/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhe04VvvbTmwjzWrmHNjPVAYbVkoxhk45S9D3i-F8E7fZuvLf1gfab5D7nK3t3Y-QNKnNurp5rLTjXb4RzHgXuZe57KkmvcxSIok8VZEbKI7T6-5c-fVPGwiaLtONw4osIPjmUj48g_Os7/s320/2.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I chose the soba lunch set for 980 yen, which has soba noodle, a small bowl of an immersed tuna fish on rice, sesame tofu, fried chicken and fried potatoes. All were delicious!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The cold water had a twist of lime and was lovely. It's a small restaurant and very good service. I'd like to visit again for their hot sake at night.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div>
For me, Autumn means "Kagura" season! <br />
<br />
The only time I can see Kagura in Kyoto is on the night of Yoiyama during the Gion Festival. But a friend of mine got the news that Kagura is performed in Wakayama Prefecture (next to Kyoto), so we went to see.<br />
<br />
Two Iwami Kagura dance teams from my hometown in Shimane were invited for the 40th anniversary of Inami Town Cultural Association in Wakayama.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9DPQzAbDQCPv_yDoehCCnvBKFAbKtc3ozNPK66amYewVl2828ydXekUFnyqlQqv-3nTg2G5DGn3qxtD8_Qn3PKA9tuoe7Br0UCnsTTRTisKf1M82FvOfP1bD83disQGzgl1fDrDnAgZS3/s1600/9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9DPQzAbDQCPv_yDoehCCnvBKFAbKtc3ozNPK66amYewVl2828ydXekUFnyqlQqv-3nTg2G5DGn3qxtD8_Qn3PKA9tuoe7Br0UCnsTTRTisKf1M82FvOfP1bD83disQGzgl1fDrDnAgZS3/s320/9.jpg" width="320" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
The sacred court performance started with a traditional playing "Ohayashi" by 4 people.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcVYAzxmeAlNEA7YMQBVzvkmuxv_obU5pPSkk5lbccdHJjY1U7yvePJKVw3rbKphyphenhyphen5gc0h5_-9-8V7jHS_Kd0n88Xj4M5rN9Hchw-kxdI0RIlWGLsLkNuabLVRthDpnRLzXUisAEZGzHbQ/s1600/6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcVYAzxmeAlNEA7YMQBVzvkmuxv_obU5pPSkk5lbccdHJjY1U7yvePJKVw3rbKphyphenhyphen5gc0h5_-9-8V7jHS_Kd0n88Xj4M5rN9Hchw-kxdI0RIlWGLsLkNuabLVRthDpnRLzXUisAEZGzHbQ/s320/6.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
</div>
</div>
<br />
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The first program was "<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amano-Iwato">Ama-no-Iwato</a> (The Cave of the Sun Goddess)," a very famous Japanese myth.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhws3O1AVH3K5RYWjQvjeDfe8ffrTceJY8gzaZ4cvR9UVWGx83_9Y2AG1B4dn7OG5mkwFgzHF48qn9K8PhA12BQSQ9Qg3gM_FivCWYoBEbOf8eJtyMwzd7AsgR5LuR3IblY0TupU34sIllj/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhws3O1AVH3K5RYWjQvjeDfe8ffrTceJY8gzaZ4cvR9UVWGx83_9Y2AG1B4dn7OG5mkwFgzHF48qn9K8PhA12BQSQ9Qg3gM_FivCWYoBEbOf8eJtyMwzd7AsgR5LuR3IblY0TupU34sIllj/s320/1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Next followed by "Ebisu," a charming God's dance.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYquOmeXu-2Qzph3v4dAqTkAx80kF9sjhk0LjY_8TQPSFi3A0RmX4VSrAnwSSzM5SdCl98bVqROgODFNgN3Wm5kIOJVBn57R-5eJ9Tk3SCvwxCGDCbYq0dIaNLPmhi7yS_8nSlFUL_mS0z/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYquOmeXu-2Qzph3v4dAqTkAx80kF9sjhk0LjY_8TQPSFi3A0RmX4VSrAnwSSzM5SdCl98bVqROgODFNgN3Wm5kIOJVBn57R-5eJ9Tk3SCvwxCGDCbYq0dIaNLPmhi7yS_8nSlFUL_mS0z/s320/2.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
"Phantom Spider" was very dynamic. Kagura's other attraction is their gorgeous costumes!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUkJAryPqt7WZS2mHyJ-cYaJz7ZRDZMjhUcFieDSIc5I4bW_RHosXb7R9KFFFw05_fUA98D9DrvUV7yPf-bf-N3lykCrMPwbeJqHMKC6nAcohTCHAG1QfeNTwgRQe8CECTzZFwgnWe5z4x/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUkJAryPqt7WZS2mHyJ-cYaJz7ZRDZMjhUcFieDSIc5I4bW_RHosXb7R9KFFFw05_fUA98D9DrvUV7yPf-bf-N3lykCrMPwbeJqHMKC6nAcohTCHAG1QfeNTwgRQe8CECTzZFwgnWe5z4x/s320/3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I especially enjoy the dance of demons!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwkw1HbZMY03Hy_8Dsb4fDey6oSm4Wd4FNx6kY8o8BuROnw96Z12ae5mfyhiz2JOusyi9sKNeePQ8rJC06ASuzsrVYeE5TpJXRJRAeJwPalRJD96BCqa9scdzodo2kglg-bhz6a_lIQ2Ap/s1600/4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwkw1HbZMY03Hy_8Dsb4fDey6oSm4Wd4FNx6kY8o8BuROnw96Z12ae5mfyhiz2JOusyi9sKNeePQ8rJC06ASuzsrVYeE5TpJXRJRAeJwPalRJD96BCqa9scdzodo2kglg-bhz6a_lIQ2Ap/s320/4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
"Kirime" is a dance based on the story about Inami Town's Prince Kirime. This is another reason why Iwami Kagura was invited.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhegR1f9xHurB7hfHf6bmNjAg1dLF3U77frUV_oRO3pXIiMa4ifevyFkP4f4LnM0UW8Gt86v7CQz1RGGCxPHW2Jfiug1gci5IHerAl6dz5LHPE89m4VybURWedRv0_-ABK1paitMBln4seC/s1600/5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhegR1f9xHurB7hfHf6bmNjAg1dLF3U77frUV_oRO3pXIiMa4ifevyFkP4f4LnM0UW8Gt86v7CQz1RGGCxPHW2Jfiug1gci5IHerAl6dz5LHPE89m4VybURWedRv0_-ABK1paitMBln4seC/s320/5.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
It lasted long time of 3 hours. For the finale was also a very famous myth "<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamata_no_Orochi">Yamata-no-Orochi</a> (an 8-branched giant snake)."<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I've seen Kagura countless times, and never get bored.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNS5Q5s-Rte4PckXu_0yKUqaZ1P-1DKpXfPsrMII7Eh0QRD1LgrJzxGatgv3439gozxkz3JcOiu0Yk_A8DRhyphenhyphenNILXqFXgmp6Hkzubb1cCfagUBet5pAwY9Cwk3DIQwaVD2n6fg5MI9Gtmq/s1600/8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="211" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNS5Q5s-Rte4PckXu_0yKUqaZ1P-1DKpXfPsrMII7Eh0QRD1LgrJzxGatgv3439gozxkz3JcOiu0Yk_A8DRhyphenhyphenNILXqFXgmp6Hkzubb1cCfagUBet5pAwY9Cwk3DIQwaVD2n6fg5MI9Gtmq/s320/8.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
After Kagura, we had pizzas, over looking a beautiful sun set.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUip7nUvGrtdnP3c6b84jkYfc9JDajeQZC5TljHKini7PSDh5Wf0TbUKXw8psTTq85Ik7Gf8AfVyYpDjfMnwu72w1CXVmZBm8wRbO5pcSNrgEkgXkTt96tM5acfUbhM5rkDzIxoxJVLlmh/s1600/10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUip7nUvGrtdnP3c6b84jkYfc9JDajeQZC5TljHKini7PSDh5Wf0TbUKXw8psTTq85Ik7Gf8AfVyYpDjfMnwu72w1CXVmZBm8wRbO5pcSNrgEkgXkTt96tM5acfUbhM5rkDzIxoxJVLlmh/s320/10.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
At a request of my brother-in-law, I went to "Gihan Ebisu Do" Chinese restaurant, which is in Sanjo-dori Avenue, just west of Horikawa-dori Avenue. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisbWt2AiquBb6MllsItr_POsd4MiQtZTdwvnZvAaIToSp1Fse0n1Sd57Sw3MGo-PPTA6h2mnGKzNnuc-prb4r4gE2RiYtxL8wJzC8ARgrg3iUJV6FUaeMKSp-6T7j3CQW6wT3wqWgocEAM/s1600/%E3%81%82.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisbWt2AiquBb6MllsItr_POsd4MiQtZTdwvnZvAaIToSp1Fse0n1Sd57Sw3MGo-PPTA6h2mnGKzNnuc-prb4r4gE2RiYtxL8wJzC8ARgrg3iUJV6FUaeMKSp-6T7j3CQW6wT3wqWgocEAM/s320/%E3%81%82.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The restaurant was with full of people and several people were waiting to be seated when I went at 7:30PM. My brother-in-law recommended shrimp vegetable ramen noodle, but it was already sold out! So I ordered the tantan ramen noodle, which was very good!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgL056L0F5seO6HFwimlEpz68ZLreyaYIZ-wQwYVX1Vq1WMVj6W8q2Tx1E7xrnZrJyqBZAG7I-YO33g9Fu0n1Zq_e6ICGph2QIp-_kxRHrEh2CyqoObQtJ-l-pAsK5gLl-sq1WbtiMSkkUp/s1600/%EF%BC%91.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgL056L0F5seO6HFwimlEpz68ZLreyaYIZ-wQwYVX1Vq1WMVj6W8q2Tx1E7xrnZrJyqBZAG7I-YO33g9Fu0n1Zq_e6ICGph2QIp-_kxRHrEh2CyqoObQtJ-l-pAsK5gLl-sq1WbtiMSkkUp/s320/%EF%BC%91.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I also ordered the most popular item of the restaurant "a set of three kinds of Xiaolongbao." <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

One of the pleasures of travelling is enjoying different meals. When we were seated, a small Jubako (layers of lacquer boxes) was served.<br />

<br />
In the Jubako boxes, the upper box has "hors d'oeuvre": sesame tofu, kidney bean, burdock root and a maple leaf shaped wheat gluten with miso based sauce. A beautiful presentation from the beginning made us excited!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
The lower box has an "appetizer": ika-no-shiokara (fermented squid) in a yellow dish, and jellied enoki mushroom and junsai (brasenia) in a glass dish.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I visited "Kagura Dome" of Aki-Takada City of Hiroshima, a very famous town for Kagura (court music and dance dedicated to the Shinto gods), to watch the high school Kagura performances in the last weekend of July. Due to my tight schedule, I only had time to see the first two performances.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div>
<span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="text-align: left;">This is the first performance "<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarutahiko_Okami">Sarutahiko</a>."</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAggaJCCWJLQHBpVPazAZnEcJjIzrdZiRTA3Og7fAjZtwq3RSCJ9U49MHBTDG3Sm98vyYg8AhRVQlXsiGguReeOcopiv9BxL1_VTBFGjXRN4nyQONW21wXCx4kA8_ErAuOvSByapHOe0Id/s1600/a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAggaJCCWJLQHBpVPazAZnEcJjIzrdZiRTA3Og7fAjZtwq3RSCJ9U49MHBTDG3Sm98vyYg8AhRVQlXsiGguReeOcopiv9BxL1_VTBFGjXRN4nyQONW21wXCx4kA8_ErAuOvSByapHOe0Id/s320/a.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
It was my first time to watch Kagura by high school students and it was very exciting and quite captivating.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhu4J49Xb70V9U-PHtHrmYWYSakBissCu3YzbPXvwY1NlvlnqcZSyWW_Z6vOhQIBRZ9bbs7u5L3IVFmTORhE9CktXC-G-oSvmlEKjmY7SufrV9CJraKYiTQrGNhIyo-blROAyMN-LbZiyWh/s1600/b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhu4J49Xb70V9U-PHtHrmYWYSakBissCu3YzbPXvwY1NlvlnqcZSyWW_Z6vOhQIBRZ9bbs7u5L3IVFmTORhE9CktXC-G-oSvmlEKjmY7SufrV9CJraKYiTQrGNhIyo-blROAyMN-LbZiyWh/s320/b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The second performance "<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsuchigumo">Tsuchigumo (Earth Spider)</a>," was performed by girls, which I've never seen before, as the dancers are always males.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihwej8dMdBvVDn3BEJ7GVZXC7nECJg2DP9vMviz7CIXQzOwWe_Ywf1OfmUS8N9y9GIu_9aiS00aeGSM5EzGgL3eukT_E5X5aWg2DJt-wgnC_8al8uEa6SFFs9QeJdg9SwNDNA9jKjH39zW/s1600/c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihwej8dMdBvVDn3BEJ7GVZXC7nECJg2DP9vMviz7CIXQzOwWe_Ywf1OfmUS8N9y9GIu_9aiS00aeGSM5EzGgL3eukT_E5X5aWg2DJt-wgnC_8al8uEa6SFFs9QeJdg9SwNDNA9jKjH39zW/s320/c.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
The voice was very clear and words were very clear and audible.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsdivCinKkdR31FwHRKijFBBoWF5p5uwj95fDiIghdtQjnud_RngEYg8AWovB-nx8tQxPc0xSLK_6qJx4tK_44P0MzkflIiHkw7g-m2FnvjAyOWINFgvgJoFXcCc8s4CfpUxCMgdbdOO6j/s1600/d.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsdivCinKkdR31FwHRKijFBBoWF5p5uwj95fDiIghdtQjnud_RngEYg8AWovB-nx8tQxPc0xSLK_6qJx4tK_44P0MzkflIiHkw7g-m2FnvjAyOWINFgvgJoFXcCc8s4CfpUxCMgdbdOO6j/s320/d.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The sudden transformation to the demon was also brilliant, and there was a huge applause.<br />

Shimane's heavy rain the other day made national news. The local cable broadcast station kept announcing the volume of water released from <a href="http://damnet.or.jp/cgi-bin/binranA/All.cgi?db4=1731">Hamahara Dam</a> near my parents home. I became curious and went out to see the dam for myself.</div>

Today, I drove around the mountain roads near <a href="http://japanhike.wordpress.com/tag/shimane-prefecture/">Mt. Sanbe</a>, which is Shimane's very famous and beautiful mountain.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Sake's popularity abroad is growing and many of Maeniiya guests recently ask me for Sake bars, so I went to "<a href="http://www.sakebar.jp/">+SAKE bar+Cafe</a>" in Gion to try their sake. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Owner's first recommendation was a "sake-tasting set" (1,000 yen) which you can enjoy three kinds of sake. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnlNeAUeYceLhcEhYdkXuRUXPmqw2QFHIRvAyEk3JQ60MLi5g3qfnjADefxr4ljsirIk9_piJ2OazDFeGmz1PYYthwmPvJr0jtMGMbvQDOETNmb7J8JxZzyWUI17XwQmwIJIjmWBSUQf0l/s1600/a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnlNeAUeYceLhcEhYdkXuRUXPmqw2QFHIRvAyEk3JQ60MLi5g3qfnjADefxr4ljsirIk9_piJ2OazDFeGmz1PYYthwmPvJr0jtMGMbvQDOETNmb7J8JxZzyWUI17XwQmwIJIjmWBSUQf0l/s320/a.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
This set is great for sake beginners because they all have very distinctive tastes.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNuv1vvm2bAnLKdP9fB2yewtRpIrArQUgHNEIbu2JhvsBSd9BDkg0XLRSwTx6RZ-3dAlM3w4MRgR7535sn8hvfnX4459n5ufClQ368TgstLcFGL61OJwRw-Dr6YoTpftaGCT90xVA4LPv-/s1600/b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNuv1vvm2bAnLKdP9fB2yewtRpIrArQUgHNEIbu2JhvsBSd9BDkg0XLRSwTx6RZ-3dAlM3w4MRgR7535sn8hvfnX4459n5ufClQ368TgstLcFGL61OJwRw-Dr6YoTpftaGCT90xVA4LPv-/s320/b.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This set of three are more for experts. It was very difficult to evaluate aftertastes, for sure.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Among several snacks we ordered, our most favorite was a sandwich-style <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yatsuhashi">yatsuhashi</a> and cream cheese. It was too tasty that I totally forgot to take photos!<br />

Established in the 15th century, the Kano School is one of Japan's most famous institutions of Japanese painting.<br />
<br />
Kyoto National Museum brings together a retrospective of the works of two masters. It is the museum's first major exhibition of Kano School works since 2010 and features newly discovered art pieces, as well as works that are brought back to Japan for the first time from overseas collections.</div>

The contents of the exhibition are so wonderful and breathtaking!!! The artists' skillful techniques are overwhelming and I deeply felt the energy of their concentration on every single line.<br />

Since it had stopped raining when I came out of the Museum, I took a walk around the museum. Rodin's "The Thinker" in the courtyard is surrounded by azaleas in full bloom,<br />
